“Backfired!” on August 23rd

Remember that time you started a rumor about your high school rival’s terrible party problem, only to have that make her even more popular? The person you began to date just to drive your ex crazy, which then kept him from reconciling? Or the time you took a cruise to get some time away from your wacky brother, only to find out that he was on the same cruise? No, it’s not ironic. Really.

The great philosopher Gandolf tells us, “For even the very wise cannot see all ends.” Sometimes even the most brilliant plans backfire on us. And, I gotta tell you, it makes for some GREAT stories!
